TL;DR

  • The basic Android 13 schedule is here.
  • Overall, the schedule looks to be shorter than last year’s.
  • If all goes well, we could see an August 2022 launch of the stable release.

That being said, the fourth beta represented Platform Stability, so it is nearly done. As such, it might get you excited for the rest of the Android 13 schedule and when you can expect the stable version to launch.

Below, we’ve compiled all the info we have so far on the release schedule of Android 13.

Google supplied us with the loose Android 13 schedule you see above. All in all, it’s a significantly shorter timeline than what we saw for Android 12 last year. So far, Google has kept tightly to the schedule with each milestone met. We should see at least one more full beta launch in July, although there could be more point updates, too.

Assuming there are no major setbacks, the stable launch of Android 13 should land around August 2022.

For the sake of comparison, Android 12’s stable launch happened on October 19, 2021. However, the transition from Android 11 to Android 12 was significant. Considering it doesn’t appear the shift from Android 12 to Android 13 will be nearly as drastic, it’s very possible Google will move things along a lot faster this year.

In the meantime, here are the significant Android 13 schedule milestones we’ve seen so far:
